JKSSB Class IV Eligibility Criteria 2024 – Educational Qualifications

The duties of the candidates selected under JKSSB Class IV Recruitment 2024 would require them to complete various essential tasks. Though the qualification requirements are not extremely technical but are essentially basic in nature. The qualifications which the candidates must possess are: -

  • The minimum qualification for applying for JKSSB Class IV entrance exam is Matric
  • The maximum qualification for the JKSSB Class IV entrance exam is 10+2.
  • Candidates must possess documentary evidence to support their claim of educational qualification.


JKSSB Class IV Eligibility Criteria - Domicile

  • As per the notification by the MoHA, Government of India vide S.O 1229 (E) (dated March 31st 2020) and the General Administration Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir vide S.O 166 (dated March 18th2020), all candidate appearing for JKSSB Class IV entrance exam should have domicile in the Jammu and Kashmir meaning their address proof should be of the UT only.
  • Candidates must possess the domicile certificate issued by competent authorities in the prescribed format to be eligible for the ongoing recruitment.
  • Apart from these candidates, all candidates that are defined as “Migrants” in SRO 412 of 2009 or defined as ‘’ Kashmiri Pandit” in SRO 425 of 2017 can apply for JKSSB Class IV entrance exam.


JKSSB Class IV Eligibility Criteria 2024 - Important Points

  • The candidate is advised to keep checking the JKSSB website on a regular basis for all information with regards to JKSSB Class IV entrance exam and the process after that too.
  • The candidate must take a printout of the Admit Card, double check all the details mentioned on it are correct and keep the printout till the end of the whole process.
  • The candidate must keep all their original documents handy with 2 passport size photographs and a photocopy of all documents with them. In case they do not have the original documents with them it is advisable to make certified true copies of the documents.
  • The pay scale for JKSSB Class IV 2021 vacancies is Rs. 14,800 - Rs 47,100/-. Along with the pay various benefits and allowances are also provided.
  • At any stage of the recruitment process if the candidate is found breaking the rules and regulations of the JKSSB Class IV recruitment process, the candidature will be cancelled.
